The following will be the standards of measurement unless otherwise requested by Buyer at the field measure. The edges of countertops will overhang the outermost edge of the cabinet by ¾ inch (whether such outmost edge is a drawer, door or the cabinet). At appliance openings, the countertop will be flush (+/- ¼ inch) to the side of the cabinet. Under mount sink will have overhang and/or reveals fabricated to sink manufacturers specifications. Kitchen sink setback from front of the counter will be 3 ½ inches and the center faucet hole setback from sink opening will be 2 ½ inches. Stone to stone joints and seams will be approximately 1/16 inch wide. Seams are always visible to the eye and have a different texture (feel) than the stone surface. All appliances (cook tops, downdraft vents, ranges, etc.) and plumbing fixtures (sinks, faucets, water tops, filters, point water heaters, disposals, etc.) and/or any other items that must be accommodated by a cutout on the project, must be present at the jobsite at the time of field measure. All appliance or plumbing cutouts will be made to the dimensions specified by the manufacturer (as provided by Buyer). Any alteration or change from manufacturer’s template may be at additional charge. Buyer is responsible to select appliances that will allow for structurally sound top when the cutout for the appliance is made. GB is not responsible for specifications of sinks or cabinets, etc. All measurements can vary to accepted industry standards. An authorized representative or Buyer must be present at field measurement and final installation. Natural stone is a product of nature and varies in structure, color, and veining. No returns or rejection of fabricated or installed material will be allowed for any such variation. Stone thickness could vary by +/- 1/8 inch. If Buyer concerned about such variation, Buyer must arrange to approve the material and the layout of the project before fabrication begins. If Buyer does not inspect the raw material and /or the piece layout on the raw material, Buyer than agrees to accept the material and layout as determined by GB. Any slab purchases are to be verified and approved by Buyer prior fabrication. If more material and fabrication required to accommodate Buyer’s specified layout requirements, this cost will be in addition to the price quoted by GB specialist. Price includes sealing. In the event GB’s work and/or materials are damaged at any time during or after construction by someone other than a GB employee or authorized subcontractor, and I n the event GB is requested to repair such damage, said repair will be charged as an extra to contracted work. GB is not responsible for installation of appliances, carpentry, electrical, plumbing or support work. Unless noted otherwise, on-site per schedule cutouts are not charged as an extra to the contract. Unless otherwise expressly agreed to shipments will be by carrier selected by GB. Such carrier will act as the agent of Buyer and delivery to such carrier will constitute delivery to buyer. All sales and shipment of products will be F.O.B. GB’s selected warehouse, at which point title to and all risk of loss of the products will pass from GB to Buyer, provided however, that GB will retain a security interest in and a lien on the books until full payment is made by Buyer.
